chaos, meet beauty....
beauty, say hello to my ever present friend, chaos. Can you peacefully coexist? You're going to have to until I finish all of these holiday quilt orders. By the way, these gorgeous fabrics are by the talented Anna Maria Horner, one of my favorite designers for quilting fabrics. I got a whole slew of lovely patterns at Dallas' brand new modern fabric boutique, City Craft. Go over and say hello. You're going to love it! Tully, thank you for the loverly flowers.

Ooohh! I'm going to check it out :)
ReplyDeleteRachel, I think it's great that you're going to make a sweet baby quilt. Just keep it simple. Think geometric. The first quilt was entirely too ambitious......8 pointed stars or something involved like that. I always love to hand embroider the baby's name to complete the quilt. Let me know if you'd like some pointers on embroidery.
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of City Craft. Tell Callie you read about her store on Rotten Bananas. She'll like that.
Beautiful fabric sites Shari - I could look and dream all day. Chaos and beauty is great. If you leave out the beauty then just chaos - not so great. BUt your room is always filled with lovely color so beauty it is.
ReplyDeletehave a great day.
